Jewish Energy Balancing
Living a meaningful life and having a sense of well being, to be connected to your essential self, and to G-d is our true purpose.
Every person is unique. The body is a perfect reflection and expression of the soul. As a result of this, it is possible to sense how the energy moves and identify blockages. Bringing consciousness to a particular part of the body opens that area to the divine flow of energy that releases and heals trauma, strengthens immunity and leads to an increased sense of well being.
I seek in my practice (with G-d's help), to restore the human energy system and aid the body in the recovery of its own balance through natural and non-invasive modalities. This energy work includes, cranial-sacral balancing (for the central nervous system), reflexology (for the vital organs and energy currents), the five elements, and sound healing. On the deepest core level is the balancing energy of the ten sefirot within a person. This is based on the Kabbalistic map of the tree of life. In conjunction with these systems, I also will use , when appropriate, dietĘ awareness, guided visualization, meditation and verbal counseling.
Bio
Spirituality and healing have been my passion throughout my life. I knew there was more to the world than meets the eye. I spent many years in San Francisco, California, Colorado, New Mexico and Spain seeking and searching for meaning in my life and in the world. I thought art would be the answer, so I received a BA in painting in California. However I still felt an inner void . I needed something more. I studied different cultures and religions which was interesting but it wasn't my bloodline.
Then I met Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach ztl and discovered that my Jewish roots were the missing piece. I've been practicing Judaism and healing now for ten years.
My vision is to participate in Tikkun Olam-repairing the world-one extraordinary being at a time.
I currently reside on the upper west side in Manhattan.
