Nyack Hospital Cancer Center (affiliated with New York-Presbyterian Medical Center)
Integrated treatment of cancer patients with Oncology Hematology group headed by the hospital Director, Michael Rader, MD. Established hospital's first Chinese herbal pharmacy. Developed moxibustion clinic for breast cancer patients. Provided acupuncture care in conjunction with Anesthesiologists and Pain Clinic. Developed clinical strategies for Oncology nurses involved in the management of chemotherapy side effects. Participated in weekly Tumor Board meetings with surgeons and physicians from all disciplines. Provided consultation for patients of Dr. Deborah Axelrod, Chief, Saint Vincent's Comprehensive Breast Cancer Center on Adjuvent Integrative approaches to cancer care.

Worked closely with physician in family practice to provide treatment for all types of acute and chronic diseases. Attended daily rounds. Participated in NIH study for Otitis Media.

Internship: Assisted Master Practitioner in the treatment of chronic degenerative and autoimmune diseases. Edited journal articles, prepared herbal formulations, participated in non-invasive treatments (moxibustion, tui na, gua sha). Conducted intensive study of patient histories and treatment, epidemiology, autoimmune disorders and viral conditions.

Directed all business and financial operations of community adult education center focusing on holistic living. Designed curriculum, recruited instructors, purchased equipment and texts, and developed marketing campaigns.
